This ceramic Whare dish is crafted by Adele and Richard of Borrowed Earth, a ceramic studio in Auckland. The studio began in the '90s when Adele learned pottery from her mother and set up in her father's garage. Richard, formerly a telecommunications technician, joined Adele who was selling her work at local markets. Now, they produce a variety of designs that reflect their Māori, Pacific, and English heritage. They aim to offer handmade pieces that can become treasured family items, believing that small daily choices can lead to positive global changes.
