What are your shop hours?

1st June 2026 - We are now open 3 days a week only. Thursday to Saturday, these hours are:

Thursday 10am-5pm

Friday 10am-4pm

Saturday 10am - 3pm

Please note hours and extra days may be added occasionally where it fits.  Please follow our social media pages Instagram and Facebook as changes will be announced there. 

Where is your shop?

We have moved to a smaller shop site in the same block (other side of KIRI NATHAN and next to Avons Butchery.  

The amazing Kahui Collective shop has now moved to our previous shop site. 

Where do you get your products from?

Every product at Celebrate Aotearoa is carefully handpicked and sourced by our store founder/owner, Czarina Wilson. Czarina's unique blend of creativity, retail expertise, and management skills has allowed her to cultivate strong relationships with both established businesses and burgeoning creative enterprises across New Zealand. She also leverages the power of social media to discover small creative businesses, ensuring a diverse and continuously updated range of products in our store.

As a result, Celebrate Aotearoa stands as a true testament to Czarina's passion for and dedication to uplifting New Zealand's diverse creative community.

Do you offer discounts or sales on your items?

In general, we do not offer discounts.

If an item or range is reduced, it is usually because we have specifically selected that range to clear space for new stock.

Sale items are not a regular occurrence and are only available when marked.

Do you pricematch? 

We do not offer price matching as our small business does not have the large buying power of more established retail or big box stores, which restricts us from receiving substantial discounts. We truly appreciate your choice to support our business, and we aim to provide exceptional value through personalized service and unique offerings

What are your Payment Solutions?

IN STORE we accept Cash (when correct change is presented) 

Eftpos Debit / Credit Card/ Apple Pay and now offer Afterpay and Zip.  Bank Transfer.  We do not have a paywave surcharge.   However we will be instilling an Afterpay limit of $100 minimum purchase. 

ONLINE we accept most Card solutions, Afterpay. 

Do you offer gift vouchers or online gift cards? = Temporarily On Hold

At Celebrate Aotearoa, we offer both physical gift vouchers and online gift cards, making it easy to give the perfect gift to someone special. Our gift vouchers are available in-store and can be used for any purchase at our physical location. For online shoppers, our digital gift cards can be purchased through our website and are redeemable for any online orders.

Can I pay online and pickup instore? 

Sure can.  Purchases made online can be collected in store at Celebrate Aotearoa 1/260 Apirana Ave Glen Innes. Collection on our days of trade only.     We do not process immediately so please be mindful when placing online purchases as these may take 1-2 days to process

We do not process click and collect on the day you have placed the order, especially if you have multiple items.  Please get in touch first. 

What is your Return policy?

Please choose carefully before purchasing.

As a small business, we do not offer refunds for change of mind, duplicate gifts, colour or size expectations, or if you find the item cheaper elsewhere.

Exchanges may be offered within 14 days of purchase, as long as the item is unused, in its original condition and packaging, and proof of purchase is provided.

Earrings cannot be exchanged for hygiene reasons.

All items are checked when they arrive in-store and again at checkout. If there is an issue with your item, please contact us as soon as possible so we can assess it fairly.

What if something is faulty? 

If you believe an item is faulty, please contact us as soon as possible with proof of purchase.

Faulty means a manufacturing fault or an issue with the product that is not caused by normal wear and tear, accidental damage or misuse.

Depending on the issue, we may offer a repair, replacement, exchange, credit note or refund in line with the Consumer Guarantees Act.

Please note, we do not offer repairs, replacements or refunds for damage caused by customer handling, misuse or general wear and tear. This includes broken items from being dropped, jewellery damaged through wear, or items not used or cared for properly.

What are your Shipping and Handling Charges?

As part of our commitment to transparent and fair shipping practices, we have updated our shipping options to include a specific choice for rural addresses. This update applies to all orders, ensuring that we can continue to offer quality service nationwide.

When you shop with us online, you agree to our terms and conditions.

Please select the correct shipping option at checkout, including Rural Address if this applies to your delivery.

If the wrong shipping option is selected, or the actual shipping cost is higher than the amount paid, we will contact you before sending your order to arrange any additional payment.

As a small business, we can no longer cover extra rural delivery costs.

If you are unsure which option to choose, please contact us before placing your order.

How long do orders take to deliver within New Zealand. 

We use NZ Post/Courier for our deliveries, as they have been the most reliable option for our business. From tracking email can take overnight to 3-5 days at most.

Once an order has been dispatched and tracking shows it has been delivered, we are unable to resend or replace missing parcels.

If there is an issue with delivery, please contact us as soon as possible so we can help follow up with the courier where possible.

Customers are welcome to arrange their own shipping method. Please contact us before placing your order if you would like to do this.

Do you send to Australia or Internationally?

Not at this time.  You are welcome to arrange your end. Celebrate Aotearoa will not be responsible for items outside of this.

Privacy/ Surveilance.  Can I take photos or videos of items to send to friends or family?

At Celebrate Aotearoa, we prioritize the safety and security of our premises and products. Therefore, we maintain 24-hour surveillance throughout the store. We understand that our visitors may sometimes want to capture images or video of potential gift ideas to share with loved ones. We're more than happy to accommodate such requests. However, please note that extensive photography or video recording is not permitted in our store, and we'll kindly ask you to cease such activity. Your understanding and cooperation are greatly appreciated.

Do you offer free gift wrapping. 

Not at this time.

We are open to collaborating with community.  IF you have an idea reach out to us.  Before you do, make sure you are following us, have interacted or and supported our business in some way.  A little manners goes a long way ;-)

As for creative business - We are not taking on new creatives/small business at this stage. 

However we are open to the conversation if you want to try your product without within our retail space, lets talk and see what you have to offer.

At our previous Celebrate Aotearoa location, we have had the privilege of hosting numerous local makers and creatives at our Pop-Up market events, attracting hundreds of visitors to our retail space. We are truly grateful for the opportunity to provide both familiar faces and newcomers with a real-world sales experience in a retail environment. This would not have been possible without the support and creativity of our community. Thank you for making each event a success.  And of course those who have supported us on this journey.
