MIRIAMA GRACE-SMITH

Miriama Grace-Smith is a Wellington-based Māori artist of Ngāti Hau, Ngāti Maniapoto, Ngāti Toarangatira, and Ngāti Porou descent. Her multidisciplinary work spans painting, illustration, fashion, and mural art, deeply rooted in her heritage and inspired by whakapapa (genealogy) and pūrākau (Māori storytelling).​

In partnership with Moana Rd, Miriama has designed a range of products—including sunglasses, drink bottles, bucket hats, accessories and more—that blend contemporary style with Māori motifs. Each piece reflects her vibrant aesthetic and commitment to cultural storytelling .​
