STUDIO SOPH  is the creative practice of Sophie Holt, a full-time artist based in Motueka. Born in Christchurch and raised in the Netherlands, Sophie comes from a deeply creative family, with strong roots in ceramics and clay.

Her work is best known for playful, illustrated ceramics and quirky designs that embrace personality and imperfection. What began at local markets has grown into a much-loved brand across Aotearoa — including her iconic grumpy cheetah cup, still making people smile years on.
